The year 2013 brings a new year with fresh hope, new challenges and the confidence to face them with success and victory!

It has been 86 years since members of Alpha Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. began serving individuals in our communities. That tradition continues today. It is gratifying to think of the many individuals and families locally and beyond that have benefited from our programs and services.

Our national program, Global Leadership through Timeless Service under the direction of our national president, Carolyn House Stewart has helped to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people in our communities from helping young women to become great leaders, helping veterans who have selflessly served our country to providing scholarships that assist students in their pursuits of higher education.

As Alpha Alpha Omega looks toward 2013, we look ahead to the future and what it will bring for our chapter. We will continue with existing projects under the banner of our national program, and will also develop new projects. Our goal is to achieve excellence and to be a valued and trusted community resource.

The past 86 years have demonstrated that Alpha Alpha Omega can effect change. We are still respected today for being supreme in service to all mankind and will be in the future
