There were over 15 Sorors in attendance at the Leadership Development Workshop held on Wednesday, April 16th at the Woodland Hills High School Library. Soror Delphina Briscoe, Chairperson, and her committee, expanded on the theme of “The Heart of Leadership." Soror Linda Bryant, with the assistance of Soror Richelle Williams, lead the participants in a leadership icebreaker activity before she discussed the Qualifications and Challenges of being an effective leader. Next, by popular demand, Soror Thelma Morris continued her discussion on the proper way of using and implementing basic parliamentary procedures. Lastly, Soror Delphina Brisco discussed Regional Protocol and the differences between the Leadership Development certification tracks. The hour long informative workshop was facilitated by Soror Fawn Robinson.
