Public Relations Committee
Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with media
• Provide information about the chapter and its activities in the most acceptable form and with the highest quality appearance for editorial and other media use
• Recognizes activities and information about the chapter and/or members that are news worthy
• Attend all key committee meetings to gather information for publicizing activities
• Covers all major activities of the chapter
• Conducts an annual public relations workshop to get the entire chapter involved in the public relations of the chapter
• Arranges for photographs to be made of the chapter’s major events
• Serve on the Archives/History Committee
• Follow guidelines for the Ivy Leaf reports as outlined in the Ivy Leaf magazine
