Woman, at least 30 years of age, as of June 1st, who has a vision of how an education will benefit her family, community and self
Enrolled in or accepted to an accredited college/ university or pursuing a technical or vocational education
Copy of an acceptance or continuation letter from the college/university or technical program of enrollment for the fall semester
Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
An official college transcript that includes at least the first semester of grades for currently enrolled students, or an official high school transcript for accepted students
Completed application form
500-word essay, typewritten and doubled-spaced: “How will your education benefit your family, your community and you?”
One letter of recommendation from a school administrator, job supervisor or employer
One letter of recommendation, documenting community involvement, within the last two years
Must be available to receive this award at the June Luncheon
$1,000 awarded at the June Luncheon
