There were over 20 Sorors in attendance at the Leadership Development Workshop held on Wednesday, March 19 at the Woodland Hills High School Library. The theme of the meeting was "The Heart of Leadership." Soror Delphina Briscoe, Chairperson, and her committee conducted a very professional and informative workshop. Soror Fawn Robinson did an excellent job facilitating the workshop as she introduced each presenter and made sure the workshop ran smoothly. With assistance from Soror Rhiana Taylor, Soror Denyse Littles-Cullens informed the attendees on how to conduct effective meetings in regards to chapter operations, meeting management, and Soror responsibilities. Soror Toni Kendrick presented on the qualities that effective leaders posses and the importance of being familiar with current sorority documents and manuals. Soror Westlynn Davis discussed effective conflict resolution strategies and provided examples on how to put them into practice. Soror Thelma Morris educated the chapter members on the proper way of using and implementing basic parliamentary procedures.
